My name is Tara Kaur Sachar, and I am a passionate advocate for human rights and a dedicated self published writer/poet. I recently graduated from Bard College with a degree in psychology and a focus on global public health, I am determined to make an impact through helping others. As a survivor of sexual assault and domestic violence, I founded the organization You Survived to offer support and empowerment to others who have experienced similar trauma. I am a staunch advocate for women’s rights, including the right to choose. I want to eventually pursue a Master’s in Social Work.
